Not quite. We need a new tank as the old one has split. They lowered the water level in it but it's a very temporary fix.

No. Just need to keep an eye on it, keep it warmish and keep a potty under it to give us a fighting chance of switching the water off if it gets worse!

Job update - didn't get it - but then rang the other agency to say I can do the other interview tomorrow, and they told me all about the first job. Apparently it's a terrible place to work, they have huge turnover of staff and they didn't bother to put any candidates forward because the job is probably not going to exist in a few weeks!

So, it sounds in fact as if I had a lucky escape
