Just in the door from seeing Simon Callow in Becoming Shakespeare - he was amazing, and rightly deserved three encores! A birthday treat and I have vowed there are going to be many more theatre outings, I have really missed doing it.

There are times when I grumble about London but tonight am on a high and completely back in love with this fabulous city

Had a lovely sleep in this morning and am just nursing a cup of tea to help wake me up Then I'm to see a flat, then back to rest, clean up and get ready to PARTY! Woohoo!

Happy to report that I don't have a sore head at all! Had a lovely dinner, lots of great chats (and present unwrapping ) and was home by 10.30pm and in bed by midnight. Bit more sophisticated than my usual parties LOL.

Got woken up by my dearest friend in NZ - at 7.30am! But it was so lovely to have a good long chat to her. Phone has kept ringing today and lots of FB wishes - and in between I'm glamorously doing laundry, watching old re-runs of Murder She Wrote and browsing Right Move
