Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Yes Susie, a harness would be much safer for you both, getting one on might be tricky but better in the long run, good luck xxxx

I LOVE the second one, Lisa, that's so funny - and actually I can see her tolerating me puytting it on her a little easier - and she won't be able to wriggle out of it!

Reporting back on the sausage, spinach, bean and mandarin oil salad - woeful, not enough dressing and some of the beans are off. :(

Postscript - just been told there's a Pets At Home (note the capitals) on my way home so going to go in tonight and BUY! I might get a cheap one to start off with because she's such a diddy girl, some of the reviewers of the second one said it was too big.

OMG I might actually sleep tonight...

Was that salad home made Susie, sound yukkie

LOL, only yourself to blame then Susie :D

Aww susie u poor soul. Just caught up on your exploits last night. I used to use a proper cat harness on my old house rabbit n take her out round mums garden.

I think I'll try one on kitty once her jabs are up to date n she's a little bigger. Will need a new smaller one though as my old one is way too big. Good luck huni. Take some piccies n let us know how u get on. I'd probably get a normal lead rather than a retactable one till she's used to it.

No, not yet, but definitely going to get it - did a google search a wee while back and think Argos had a good option - what info have you got?

Jim - too true! Will make a nice chicken salad for tomorrow :D

How's your food day gone Susie? :)

Evening Di - food went well today. Lunch was diabolical but ate it anyway, and am going to get in the kitchen in a minute and fry some chicken for tomorrow's salad. A sneaky G&T has sliped into my hand but there is a bit to celebrate - excited about the new flat, excited about being extended at work and happy (albeit tired) to be Orbit's new servant :D

Went to Pets at Home after work and spent up large - mainly food stuff - and the result is a thumbs up - she especially loves the Dreamies nibble things. I don't think she likes being on her own, refuses to come out from under the sofa for about half an hour after I get home.

But she is definitely mending bridges for me at work, so to speak - a rather difficult woman at work just melted when I showed her pics of Orby, then she showed me pics of her cat (also very cute), and now we are bosom buddies, as Anne of Green Gables would say :D

How was your day?

Awwwwwww fabbie :) making friends through felines :D amazing what makes people connect isn't it? Lunch sounded horrendous hon, did you really eat "off" beans????? bleurghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

How was your day?

I'm so pleased Susie! Lots of positive stuff happening for you at the moment ! X

We have a dog who arrives with our lawyer in the Hammersmith office... She's so adorable and is a great PR ambassador for him as he's not very friendly! Lol

And there's something wrong with iPod this morning as it will only let me respond to individual messages not to the general posting!

My day was ok... Did some training and policy writing... Didnt plan too well food wise so ended up a bit weak and tired - my own fault.

Only managed an Atkins shake for brekkie - vanilla which was yum! And a tin of tuna in spring water for lunch! Then when I got home had one egg omelette with Bok Choy clove of garlic with pancetta and cheese cooked in coconut oil... Very yummy!!

Hope you have a lovely day today! :)

Ah, the power of pets eh Susie, Morning!

Morning Susie, forgot to say congrats on the job extension yesterday - me bad!!!! Things are really going well for you and I am so pleased cos you are a really lovely person and deserve it all! xx

Oh what a boost to come in, slightly knackered and needing a lift, and seeing all your lovely posts and feeling instantly pampered!

:grouphugg:Smooooocchhhhhh to you all and thanks :D

Orbit was in a happy and very loving mood after I gave her some Dreamies, but we had the same 'scratching at the door all night' palava, so not a great night's sleep again. I checked out harnesses at Pets At Home but they only had the little ones and I'm sure she would wriggle out of one in a flash. So, we stay indoors for now and put up with it.

Here's the link to Orbit's FB page, my boss started it up and I've just updated the diary - http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=115844798511724

Foodwise, all is good, did a sneaky WI and I am getting closer to the 200s :D

B - sossies and eggs, soya latte
L - spicy chicken salad
D - roasted pork belly slices with mustard and cabbage sauteed in butter mmm
S - yoghurt and l/c granola
W - 2 litres
E - going to try a walk round Greenwich Park at lunch, if I have time
A - no (although I said that yesterday and then had two sneaky G&Ts )

Enjoy your day, lovely people

Which is why we get on so well 'cause you're lovely too :D:character00238:

Thx hun - getting back into the 200s will be brilliant.

I am so annoyed at myself, there I was in November, doing so well and lost nearly 35 lbs...and then back the weight crept. Boo...

So am going to do my uptmost to keep focused this time and get back into my green mac for autumn :D
