She's a weeny thing so I have overcompensated out of fear that she can walk through walls and have the window open about an inch, if that :eek::D

We'll manage, I might try leaving her in the lounge tonight and shutting the door so I can open the bathroom window more.

VERY grrrrrr on the house front. Not sure what to do now.
 
She slept under the covers ALL day yesterday (and I jumped in and snuggled up for an afternoon nap lol), and then spent most of the evening on the bed or on the bedpost - I must have been moving around a lot so she got fed up and moved out of harm's way. I woke up at one point and saw her sitting side on to me on the bedframe at the end and she looked exactly like an Egyptian cat statue :D

From 12-4am she was meowing and running around into the bathroom, around the bedroom, trying to climb the curtains, jumping into the washing machine and generally looking for a way out to go outside. I kept worrying that she was going to wee/do a number 2 on the floor like Saturday.

Silly, really, it doesn't matter in the long run and my place is all laminate so any spill is easy to clean up - but couldn't stop myself!
 
Ah bless, but it is still early days so I wouldn't worry about the tray just yet, she will get the hang of it, cats like to be clean.

Kick your mortgage broker up the bum! Surely he/she is trained and being paid to know the answer?!! You can't wait until you've fallen in love with somewhere then be told sorry no! You can get a mortgage agreed in principle before you even start looking.
 
I know, Lisa, that's what I was hoping to get before starting looking - but he's such a nice person...anyway I'll see what the agent's broker says. Mad to be in this situation when I'm earning good money and have a hefty deposit!
 
Reallly frustrating Susie... I'm self employed and dreading the time when I need to look for a new mortgage! It's getting so hard to get a loan at the moment... So depressing! What's the next plan? :)
 
Yeah. Niceness isnt what's needed in business. Go find yourself a new broker. I work with some brokers and the one thats the most annoying is the one I'd get to do my mortgage! lol!x

Thx all, got the details of another broker so will give them a call this morning. Looked at three flats yesterday, one was lovely but small and the other two were horrible. This is the lovely one - 2 bedroom flat for sale in Bromley Road, Catford, London, SE6, SE6

Well, I'm still tired - nighttimes are an adventure in my house now - for all the wrong reasons :D. I've won the battle of wills over the litter tray, I think, but cor it didn't half pong!

Orby really wants to go outside, she was scratching at the french windows most of the night...

Anyway...now for the good news, first WI of Return to Induction and I'm 8lbs down :D. Very happy with that :D. One more push and I'll have reached my first mini target.

B - bacon and eggs, soya latte
L - chicken salad
D - lamb curry, probably
S - cheese and salami rolls, yoghurt
W - 2 litres, maybe push to 3
E - walking
A - no
