Not the best night's sleep, I had some herbal sleepytime tea and it gave me the weirdest dreams! But am feeling a bit better now, and am armed with Vit C and echinacea. Feel a bit nervous though...

But on the happy side - WI this morning and I'm happy to announce that I've lost 5lbs this week - which makes my first stone. Guess the honey was balanced out by not much intake!

As a treat I'm going to buy myself a 1000W food processor/blender lol - saw a vid on the weekend where a woman makes her cauli rice in the blender without any mess! Am thinking a Kenwood, also love the design of this one. Kenwood Multi Pro FP730 Food Processor, White: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

Well it's done. I thought my head was going to explode at one point, and at another I went to give my answer and my brain went completely blank...but Lovely Boss walked out with me and said he thought it was very strong. So we shall see.

Cold or no cold, I might have to have a glass of red when I get home! I will have to be careful not to go overboard though because today I have had the following to eat - 1 toulouse sausage....

I've somehow managed to transfer books from my Kindle to Calibre, (son would be very proud), now just need to get a disk and will send it hopefully next week.

And well done on the Calibre transfer, it's a great programme - and free! Once in Calibre, you just select Send to Disk from the top row of icons.

I'm hoping the boss will take pity on me and ring on his way home - but that may not happen, sigh...

Wine is now open, fumes and all D) especially as the first thing I had to do was rescue another mouse when I got home! Third time in a week - Orbit has obviously decided she needs to be the provider!

I used to really like Nigella but feel she's become a caricature of herself. What put me off was a Christmas special where she made a gift of some sweet concoction to take to a friends and ate it all in the back of the taxi on the way to the party.
