Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Morning all

Another day, another flat :D

Had the OK from the mortgage guy, so am just waiting to hear if they will allow cats on the quiet - most SO leases say no to small pets but do allow them - but we shall see. i wasn't going to say anything but have this very annoying honest streak - how puritanical of me :D But i would hate to move in and then one of the neighbours complain - because I'd then have to sell again, because getting rid of Orby ain't an option.

Agh you are having no luck at the moment, but the right place will come. When we bought a house years ago we looked at about 70 houses...some only from the outside. When we were out one day I saw a house and said to oh, that is the type of house I want....two weeks later that house went on the market and I knew even without going into it that it was the one....and we did end up buying it. I hope you get that kind of luck (hugs).

Thanks Diem, very kind words and spot on about how I need to view it all.

And well done Sammy - that's the kind of fate I really believe in :)

I actually feel quite philosophical about it all today, happily :) But am very unfocused on food, been particularly carby. MY S&S delivery arrived, but I've still got stuff to use up in the fridge, and need to get my head sorted!

glad that you are feeling more sorted with it all, what a horrible situation, when we bought our first house we got let down 5 times with 5 different properties, honestly thought we would never move, and we were first time buyers

My pain is such that I've resorted to online shopping :D

Nothing too extravagant, just stuff for home to make my life a little easier (not alcohol - spice racks :)), as I'll be staying put for a bit longer.

And yaye I don't have to work tomorrow night - the Marketing Manager is going to cover for me :)

Great a day off Susie! Good idea to wait and regroup on the house buying. Spring will bring a lot of properties. I'm off tomorrow too, may even have a glass of wine.

Early Music Festival on Saturday, I'm overseeing a live broadcast on Radio 3

Sunday it's a jazz performance at QE Hall at the Southbank - got journos going.

LOL well thanks very much for that, Lisa :D

(for those not in the know, a weta is a big black shiny cockroach-like beetle native to NZ).

Just sneaked out of an all day workshop, which is going better than I thought, happily - and soon it Will Be Over!

Carby sandwiches for lunch though :(
