Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Oh The Carpenters yes i do remember them sadly i am not too young. Did you know she went out with Alan Osmond for a while but nothing could really come of it as he was a mormon. I always thought her relationship with her brother seemed a little creepy, but she had such a phenomenal voice!

Morning all - cold but sunny here, the heating's on and I'm about to make a chorizo omelette - bliss :)

And happily won £67 in last night lotto - I'm rich!!!!!!!! :D :D

My lovely chiropodist is coming by this morning, then laundry and a bit of cleaning up, reading, catching up with all your new, then off to work tonight at the Southbank. Don't think I'll stay for the whole concert, will see how it goes.

Have a good day, all xxx

Haaaaaaaaaaaaa, I read Mormon as moron!!

Yaaaaaaaaay, not only a winner in life, but a winner on the lotto too!!

LOL thanks Smiley - what a lovely thing to say :D

Well girls I'm SO happy, got an email at 5pm from the journalist I was accompanying to the concert tonight and her car has broken down, she can't make it and as a result I don't have to go! Woohoo!!! So I can stay in the warm - just had lush sossies and cauli mash, going to do a facial shortly and got a good book and a hot soya egg nog coffee :D

Actually I had a lovely day - my friend and magic foot doctor was round and we nattered on while he did my feet. He's a spiritualist and rang a friend who does readings - anyway, the upshot is that I spent an hour on the phone to her and I am really quite bowled over by it. She knew nothing about me except my name - but what came through (and apologies if this sort of thing makes you reach for the shotgun lol) from the spirit helpers was that I've had a rough time, both personally and workwise, over the last few years, with lots of worrying about being happy in the future, some heartbreak, etc. The cynic in me thought this is all stuff common to lots of people - but then some other details came through that really surprised me.

She popped up suddenly with "You've been trying to move to a new area but you can't change your environment - you've been let down because of legal reasons a few times but is it also because of a female in your house, a pet perhaps?" Err YES! Then there was lots of stuff about being brave, making the move to what she called the green and pleasant land - although she said this could be sea as well (!!!). She said I would be run ragged for six months and then it would settle down - also a few things might change, a new job, etc - but she said in the long run it would make me happier than I am now. The moving thing came through a number of times, and she said it could happen within a year - but it must be both head and heart making the decision.

Sooooooooo - what do you think of that, eh?

Wow, popping in after the weekend....spooky but I totally believe in fate......so great news...just smile and believe...

Ahhh isn't it amazing when you have encounters like that :). I think that's a strong message here that you have the strength and ability within yourself to get through the next 12 months and any consequent move, it's a really empowering message. And having a night off, well that's just a great bonus !

Diem I hear what you're saying, these things are always open to interpretation - and I'm certainly very good at twisting things to suit what I want :D

But sometimes we all need a prod in one direction or other to get things moving.

Anyway, no immediate decisions until after Christmas! :)

I was made queen of the universe and all her associated territories but no really major news.

I'd expect nothing less from either of you :D

One of those days - one of the managers (who is lovely) is talking in a really loud voice and it's really grating on me - oh hold on, could be pmt time possibly....:)

Afternoon Susie, great news on the win - and the good vibes re the move....................and I have joined in with the periodical fun (after 72 days without one - thought I had got rid!!!!)
and as for major news, I went to a couple of gigs - oh right, not major lol xx
