Had a manic day - but got a lot done too - and had my first 1-2-1 which was all good

I just walked through the restaurant and that's what's on the menu. I looked longingly at the diner's plates and opened my mouth and took a deep gulp of vinegary air lol.

I had to endure coming up in the lift with a guy who had a plate of fish and chips. I almost stole a chip off his plate

Mr Tesco has been - lovely Polish guy, so hard working -and remembered I'd told him I was applying for my job and asked how it went - bless him! So then got the lowdown on his plans, and his girlfriend and family in Poland - he doesn't want her to come over until her English is better

Now I'm off to finish Death by Gumbo

Watching Eat Pray Love - not as good as the book, I hear, but still lovely, and the Italian mantra - let go of guilt and learn how to have pleasure - sounds good to me

Lots of pros and cons, hun -

Pros - brand new, lots of kitchen cupboards and bench space, lovely ensuite and another bathroom

Cons - the outside space is very exposed and overlooked, the road is quite noisy - although I suppose you would get used to that in time - no local corner shop nearby, and my trip to work would increase by 30 minutes.

But it's all academic really, because it's unlikely that I'll get it. They have three other applications already today, with more people coming in to see it. As a single person, I'm way down the priority list after single parents and couples.

So it's back to the drawing board...sigh....
