Although, after the morning I've had, planning hasn't happened again. See below...Yes thanks Sandra, I'm feeling a lot happier with the bars and window locks all in place - let's hope that's the end of it!
Well ladies yet more drama and hassle. No hot water this morning, so I rang the plumber who then rang over an hour later to say he'd broken down and wasn't coming.
So I had a cold shower. Not nice...
Then I walk out to find police everywhere because the woman upstairs (the one who screamed a lot) has DIED!!! They say she died of natural causes, but it seems to be related to drug taking. I had to give a statement and TBH I still feel quite shocked about it. Think I need to start writing soap opera scripts.

OMG! That's a bit of a traumatic way to start the day. We've had a spate of break ins and car tyre slashed but have luckily escaped so far. The closest break in was def targeted as it was some Nepalese neighbours who had their floorboards taken up searching for jewellery. Apparently they hide their gold under them! And it was between 5.15 and 5.45pm so in daylight.

Well guys the police are now saying manslaughter! And this neighbourhood is supposed to be safer than the one I moved from!
But at least the hot water is fixed....so I'm having a lovely big plate of low carb comfort food - cheesy cauli mash fried in butter with sossies mmmm.
