Evening all

Very funny day - we all made it in to work and did a full day - although even the boss was admitting that he'd lost the plot by midday - then a bunch of students woke up and tried to 'take over' the town hall with paint cans, only they were so undernourished it was easy to say that wasn't such a good idea. Democracy in action....

Some more worrying family news - one of my dearest family friends is unwell - reports vary from "rickets" to "on death's door". You know I'm quite bossy so a few phone calls later, we're closer to the truth - ill but not dead. Toko (Maori name, if case you're wondering) was a dear friend of Mum's, so I'm on the case.

Drinking wine now and watching the Mentalist, bliss

I quite like the Mentalist but not watched it for a while, got a bit bored I think (as I seem to do with most telly these days) and I am nearly at the end of my wine
