Well done Tanya and proud you should be! I had my first visit back to the gym on Tuesday after a month's break and loved it. Back again tonight and then again on Sunday. Doing more cardio now though cos LT is finished and loving it. Still got to carry on with the toning though.

You'll do that half marathon easy!!
 
What an achievement Tanya...you will get quicker and quicker...so, this is your goal now with the half marathon and i am sure it will help you with the right type of eating as well!

You should do a separate thread for your marathon training ;-) And then we can all see how you are doing and the big steps you are taking (literally)!!!

Lol scots! I'm not really in 'training' at the min, just preparing myself for it! I will start proper training come septemberish - so i will make one then! :)
 
Wednesday 30th July

Urgh :sigh: this morning i have felt sooo hungry - dont know whats going on - might have something to do with the laxative i took just as i was starting work as i havnt been in a couple of days :S So i picked a little at work :(

I am aching today from yesterday, my back especially but it will be worth it in the end :) Am weighing myself in the morning so was trying to be so good today but hey ho. Im sure some softmints and a cheese triangle arnt guna somehow add 99lbs :giggle:

Today:

B - LT Shake

*half packet softmints
*cheese triangle

L - Salmon, cooked vegetables and 1/2 can tinned toms left over from yesterday & a small bananna

D - LT Shake

*2 raw carrots
*2 slices thin chicken breast
*tomatoe
*small apple

Am so angry at myself. I'm soooo hungry today - the belly hasnt stopped rumbling and i feel like i have eaten for england! And to top it off the bf is getting a pizza tonight :sigh: i will resist i promise but on a day when im struggling i wish he wouldnt! :(

Im not surprised you are hungry Tanya, you are not eating enough to fill a rabbit, but then wasting calories on softmints!

You would be better having a more filling breakfast/lunch than having sugary snacks which could just lead to wanting and craving more sugar later in the day.
 
But am still on shakes and a meal untill sunday. Sunday i am going to have 3 meals, what i do not know :(
 
Friday 31st July

Weigh in day today; lost 4lbs (in 11 days) am now just 2lbs off what i was before i went on holiday.

Decided i am having two meals today, can't handle how i felt yesterday. so today:

B - LT Shake

*2 go ahead forest fruit thingys 74cals a slice

L - Subway! i had a 6inch italian bmt on wheat bread, lettuce, cucumber, toms, red onion & green peppers & light mayo. (roughly 500calories rounded up)

MARY! I HAD CARBS!!! :giggle:

D - Baked chicken breast with 2 small potatoes (skins on) & half can tinned toms

*mini roll caramel (130calories)
*2 bread sticks with garlic dip (roughly 60calories)
*lf cheese triangle

*5 vodka & coke zero

Booze cruise tomorrow. So will have a shake in the morning at work, then 2 go ahead slices, my lunch will be chicken and veg then i will take a maint bar with me so i dont munch on the buffet food!

I'm pretty happy with myself that i have managed to lose weight on my own. I have taken all the advice i have been given eps from mary and jan and i give in, i will eat carbs - i will have them 2/3 times a week. I brought some wholemeal bread today and my rents have pots already downstairs, i already have some brown spagghetti and pasta so all is good. Just guna revise my menu for next week then i will put it up :)

Already decided i am going to have brown pasta with lf sauce with chicken on sunday (hangover day :giggle:)

Anyways, enough rambling!

:) well done.....the carbs will at least keep you fuller for longer as well, then you wont have that horrid feeling you had....nothing worse!

i have certainly felt alot fuller today - and feel better for it too only thing, ive picked at 'wrong' foods, but tomorrow is another day. i have 'indulged' a little so will cut back :)

Saturdays food:

B - Special K Bar

*packet ready salted crisp
*4 squares dairy milk

L - Gammon with pineapple rings and half tin toms

*7 haribo sweets starmix ones
*2 bread sticks with philadelphia

D - Maint Bar

*3 mini sausage roll thingys, the party ones you know lol
*The topping of a slice of pizza my bf bought at the end of the night (i didnt eat the base)

Boat party was awesome!! Proper enjoyed myself. I took my maint bar and munched that when the buffet opened, although i did have 3 mini sausage roll thingys, you know the party ones then my bf told me no more tanya *yes sir* :giggle:

Anyways, heres a couple pics before it got messy!

Fell over in my new shoes on the barbican (bloddy cobble stones) and grazed my knee, then got caught by street patrol whilst wearing no shoes at the end of the night waiting for a taxi and was given free flip flops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How cool are the street patrol guys?!!!!! :giggle:
