This Little Piggy Goes to Atkins

Hi Sammy, I'm starting to think it could be flax. Will monitor that one.

It's probably a very good idea to try to avoid sweet stuff. I wonder if I'll ever conquer that one!
 
Dh cant have any flax at all. i stick to max half a mim a day (when i bother at all)

Have just made a mim for DH's work lunch tomorrow. It's an experiment as not sure how well they keep. It's going to have fried parma and HP sauce in it. Also done him a wrap as we know they're ok the next day.
 
Ooh it might be your flax that's showing too high a carb count. They're the only food I can think of where you DO have to search for 'net carbs' because flax is such high fibre and has labeling issues because of it. Take the flax out and recheck your count? Otherwise I can't see anything that looks like it might come out as high carb.
 
Redone mfp, 1700 ish cals and 33g carbs. Note to self, stop being so greedy, you weren't even hungry in the evening!

Made tomorrows lunch; King prawns fried in coconut oil with chilli, garlic, spring onion and lime. When cooled mixed with hard boiled egg and mayo.

Ooh the urban spaceman on radio 2, tuuuuuuuuune!

That's what we said, don't blame him for wanting to be a patissiere, but what a shame for whoever financed him through his degree.
 
Well I've unintentionally fasted since 3pm yesterday, 16 hours. I also can't face breakfast, I feel so full since my mim and cream yesterday. Am sure it won't last, will just go with it for now.
 
Happens to me sometimes too, definitely just go with your appetite xx
 
Just one thing as I noticed your cals were really low yesterday, you dont want them to be too low today. Calorie compensation isn't an issue on Atkins usually, in that if you have a calorie heavy day you don't need to eat lightly the next to compensate.

Ketosis gets heavier when your calories are very low, which doesn't increase losses but does decrease hunger - might explain today?
 
LOL mmm cheesecake.

I was craving sweet stuff last night so I had cream cheese mixed with cocoa powder, a tsp of Waitrose low carb peanut butter and sweetener - really hit the spot!:)

Wasn't really hungry this evening, but managed to snaffle down a chicken breast with Stilton and wrapped in parma ham and fried in butter, with cauli mash and broccoli. It tasted really lovely.

Yes, it's really nice. The husband and I are both fancying a curry, so going to make a nice Korma with cauli rice on fri. I'm salivating just thinking about it!
