I am always on the look out for something new to make that is tasty and induction friendly x

Very scary, foggy motorway journey to work again today. I'm not a fan of artics right up my pipe because I'm driving cautiously! I've had lovely pancakes for breakfast and egg mayo in lettuce leaves for lunch. Not much else to report today, very dull.

It is suuuch vile weather. Yesterday I felt like I was walking through a cloud.

Thanks Susie, I'm home in one piece. Ml, it's quite a surreal feeling isn't it?

When I got in I had a coffee with gorgeous praline syrup and cream. Had some chocolate bark, but it made me feel quite sicky. I think it tasted too sweet, something I never thought I would say!
To counteract it I'm making broccoli & Stilton soup, it smells Ddd-lish! Can't wait to snaffle some.

I mad some bark few weeks back and made me feel very very ick all evening, i thought it was either too much coconut oil, or i put some cream in to make milk chocolate version, could have been both. Not made it since got put off by it xx

It's not recommended to have more than a tbsp of coconut oil in one go if you haven't built up to it - because of the (incredibly good for you) medium chain triglycerides they can upset your stomach. So maybe you had a little more in one go? Most of what I've read says to build up slowly.

I am off the bark too though, too rich for me to want it often - so am looking for other uses as I want to keep coconut oil in my diet, I think it helps me.

I've been on the coconut oil for a couple of months now, so hope I've built up to it. I think that it's possible I don't need sweet stuff so much these days. Quite happy if that's the case!

I think that's the case for me. Amazing really - diet friendly choc and I don't fancy it!

Did anyone see Nigel Slater this week? Guess what he made. Courgette pasta with pesto!
