Applied for a job (receptionist or Duty Manager) at a new countryclub & spa :whacky068:opening near me.
They've just emailed me asking me to come in for an interview TOMORROW

What do i wear????

I've a grey skirt suit (feel bit frumpy in it) which fits but do i wear a shirt under it or maybe add a flower broach to it to lift it?

or do i wear a nice dress????

Can you tell i'm panicking :hmm: - been while since did interview and never in this type of industry.

Also, what preparation can i do (apart from re-reading my cv to remind myself of what done in the past) :blahblah:
ITs a brand new club so can't go look round the place or do any research on it. Pics of it look extremely posh

Can anyone help??? :sign0009:

Oh how exciting! Imagine all those free trips to the spa:D

I would wear something smart like the grey suit you have and maybe a bright scarf of something to brighten it up.

Re what to talk about well your experience that relates to the job and also your interest in health and well being. Your excellent people skills etc. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Oh sweetie - how exciting!!

What to wear? Love the idea of a brooch on your grey suit :) Equally a smart dress would be lovely :) Whatever you feel most comfy in hun.

How to prepare?
Deffo go over your CV. I don’t know your work background but if you have ever worked in a Reception that will help you to come up with some scenario type questions. They will ask for examples of how you have ever dealt with situations in the past – if you have no direct experience admit this but give an example of how you would deal with a particular situation if it ever arose.

Try to find out or imagine the types of jobs they do and think of examples – processing bookings – taking payments – Face of the Company – Sales & Marketing

Have a look at some job websites for interview techniques – very handy!

Most of all - wishing you lots of love and luck!

xxxxxx

p.s. Good luck for WI!!

Finally back from wi, aldi & eaten tea (s&p chips, bbq ribs & few prawn crackers - worth every 'counted' syn). Stuffed now though lol

Lost 0.5lb but ok with that - while didn't have as many syns last wk, i hardly moved and ate LOTS of potatoes & stodge and not much fruit so been to Aldi and got lots of fruit (blueberries, frozen raspberries, banana's, strawberries, grapes & apples) so onward & upward x
