Morning Susie. Mine too Jim, the rule then was once they'd had their jabs they could go so about 3 months old. I swim in the pool every day on holiday but don't go any other time lol.
I got chucked in the deep end of the school pool by the PE teacher in the days when they were allowed to mistreat students, and I did seriously nearly drown. I sank and he thought (because he was an idiot who should never have been allowed near children) that I was just mucking about...
So, I think it's safe to say I was scarred for life by that episode. I can swim now, got proper lessons at high school, but I'm not comfortable at all, don't like putting my head under water.
All is good here today, my Led Zeppelin rocker story has made it to the ABC in New York
At home the bathroom floor is still sopping, as I discovered at 6.30am...but I slept better (no dreams about water this time!) knowing it won't get any worse, and everything will be replaced in January.
Urggghh got home to find the bathroom swimming in water - when is the blooming stuff going to drain away! It's making it very unpleasant to live here...
Lovely flat Susie, i know the area well from when i lived in The QE Hospital, there are a couple of lovely parks, Woolwich common and a great pub called the Fox under the Hill, well it was great back in the mid '80's. very nice area then.
My property developer and magic foot doctor friend says I can buy both - which is a very scary proposition - for which I would need to find a mortgage broker who is ermm "flexible"!
The floors at the flat are still manky and wet, with water constantly seeping up through the porous floor tiles in the bathroom. I used six towels last night and this morning to mop it up and we ain't talking a big space here Am hoping for some better weather so it has a chance to drain away and left the heating on today - which feels so wrong but it has to be done.
