Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Hi Susie. Wow flat looks great. Alot that an imagination like yours can do to make it even greater.
My head has been in overdrive with all the planning for my new place. I've decided to take it one room at a time. Can't wait to move and get into the country lifestyle.

Have a smashing day x

Morning all

Well I feel like I've been hit by a truck this morning - slept badly and am absolutely exhausted! A bit too soon for the Atkins flu?

Got an horrendous day today as well - have to get times from 10 senior people in three different organisations for four different all day meetings over three weeks - 'twill be like herding cats....

Foodwise, I did have some of the lamb last night (very nice), then got the nibbles later and had a bag of pork crackles, and 75g cream cheese with some no carb maple syrup - all legal, I guess. According to MFP my carbs were 26, which I'm happy with for now.

Today -

B - leftover lamb and spinach curry
L - tuna salad with little gem, tomato and mayo (it's a Princess tuna in lemon oil and pepper, sounds yummy)
D - chicken with sauteed cabbage
S - roast beef and cheese roll ups

How does that sound? I think I'm getting enough leafy greens - but need to up my water!

Sammy - am off to see the flat tonight, hun :) Thanks for all your lovely comments - it will be really interesting to see what the builder comes back with.

Speak later.

Morning Susie...hope your Day From Hell is going okay!

Menu looks great. Definitely seems like enough of the green leafy stuff to me - you're even having greens for breakfast which is more than I can stomach, lol! xxx

Menu looks yummers, Susie! I don't think it's too soon for the Atkins flu - I can get into K in a day sometimes. Just remember that carbs won't make it better, protein (and lots of water) will!

Just back - but I failed completely on the camcording front - sorry! The builder was already there so we dived straight into my wish list - I could just hear "Ka-ching! Ka-ching!" every time I opened my mouth LOL. Don't get the builder's quote until next week - if it's too horrendous I'll just do it in stages.

But it's all good - the mortgage adviser says finance will be no problem, interest rates are much better than months ago, and I've made an offer eeeeekkkk - should find out tomorrow!

Foodwise, it has been a bit mad - had breakfast at lunch and will eat my lunch for dinner. I have a glass of dry white wine going, but it's kind of a special day :)

Sxxx

Evening Susie! Xxx

Thanks ML - I went to the loo five times last night, and have asparagus wee already tonight! I feel better actually, walked as fast as I could to the bus stop after work - about 20 mins flat out. There's a long, long way to go on the fitness front, but I have to start somewhere. Let's say that in six month's time I won't be puffing every time I roll over in bed :)

I am so lazy, I arrange my life around how little distance there is to walk somewhere - but if I get this flat it's a good 15-20 mins walk to get one bus to work - and uphill on the way back (gulp). There is another bus about 5 mins around the corner, which takes me to a direct bus for work, but it's good to know I have both options. And two lovely big commons are about 10 mins walk away - so the walking exercise plan is in place! :)

Hi Susie
things are cracking on with the builder then, hope he didnt suck his teeth too much! its always expensive when they do. i think there are some nasty flu like bugs going around my sons gf lives with us and she has just come down with it, i am dreading getting it, i have to live on lockets loaded with sugar when i get a cold or flu, tho i do have the flu jab because of my asthma so if she has flu i shouldnt get it.

a friend of mine is buying a flat for the first time, he is so stressed out with it all, he is a worrier tho and having never gone throught he process before is all anxious not to get it wrong. it can be a very stressful thing tho, when we moved last time we sold one and bought and i actually stopped getting my periods throughout the whole thing.. so make sure you look after yourself!!

luv

Will do Tracy! And thanks for your kind words :) I've been here many times, had four flat purchases fall through in the past two years, so I am case hardened now LOL - although I am the eternal optimist, can't help but get my hopes up! :D

There wasn't so much sucking of teeth but a bit of pants hitching and shortcuts suggested - and lots of nodding of heads from side to side - so goodness knows what the quote will be like....
