Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Oh wow, exciting day. Will cross fingers, toes and knees until you get your response.

Honestly, I can't do much exercise and I don't worry about it. Great for toning but generally unimportant for weight loss until the very late stages at least. I know the feeling of being puffed and in pain though and it's fantastic when that gets easier - and it will!

I SO related to your words on walking Susie!!! It's not laziness though - and once you start feeling lighter it will just happen magically that you'll do more things! Amazing but true! Am so excited for you and we can go walking together - I love it! X

Morning, well done on the walking, great focus, keep it up.

Morning lovely, exciting news here. I obviously had my psychic head on last night. I woke up three times with that feeling that something new was happening but couldn't work out what it was. I had been wracking my brains this morning only to draw a blank until I opened your diary and now it feels like it's all fallen into place!! I know....... weirdo lol xx

Morning Susie, lol love the pants hitching builder. Here's hoping it's a reasonable quote.

It's great you don't have to sell before you buy, a good position to be in. How much notice do you have to give?

We bought our house (a verbal accepted offer is legally binding in Scotland) before we put ours on the market. It took years off my life and gallons of wine to cope with it.

Have a good day. x

Afternoon all - especially Psychic Lisa! :D

Am firmly in the grip of Atkins flu - completely exhausted, with a muzzy head and really sore throat - and no desire to eat anything. Suppose that's a good thing....

Back to bed. Speak later.

Afternoon Susie, hope you get in full flow with K quickly, doesn't sound much fun right now - but very exciting news on the offer!!! xxx

Thanks all - am feeling a bit better, chicken soup to the rescue! Still sound like Jack Nicholson though...

One massive benefit of working from home is that I've spent hours googling bathrooms - and I am SO happy, I've found exactly the bath/shower combo I want - Deep soaking tubs, Omni Tub, omnitub, The original deep soaking tub

The large one is perfect and at £560 it's loads cheaper than what I was originally thinking - a wet room/separate bath and so on, which would have cost a fortune in digging up the floor and so on. And the space where the large shower would have gone can now be a utility area :)

Imagine lovely white bevelled tiles instead of that awful marble - oh, and hopefully sometime in the future I'll have the nice bottom too :D

Happy days :)

Blimey, you have been busy! :D

Love that bath/shower, and what on earth is a forced air oven when it's at home? Never heard of it!

(I am probably hopelessly behind the times!)

love that bath and shower i love having a bath, when we looked at this house the show home was the same style house as mine and i loved the bathroom. when we moved in there wasnt enough room to lay your head back when in the bath it finishes right against the wall, but in the show home there was a ledge beyond the bath to lay your head back, it makes the bath cramped and uncomfortable, i put a bath pillow in but it still doesnt feel right, so mostly i have a shower now sadly...

I have a 50 yr old roll top which is Devine but needs re-enamelling cos if the water's too hot my bum sticks to the bath! Lol ...
