The first incling i had that my diet was going well was when i got given the eye in the street when i was with my eldest son n his girlfriend, they laughed as this bloke smiled at me all longing looking, and said you've pulled there mum.... Trouble was he was old, bald n almost toothless, i said nah, iv already got one of those!

Slept like a log last night (but with icky dreams about nasty sci fi creatures which killed chickens and took off their skin!) and it's my day off today yaye. Off to meet Builder #2 at 11am, then thought I might go out to Ikea to look at kitchens. It's such a trek, so will depend on the weather.

Yeah the dream was a weird one - ICK ALERT - they were in a lab, something had gone terribly wrong and they were multiplying. Looked like a tadpole to start, then the head grew huge, with one big eye, and a tail like a snail, which oozed blood when they had had a kill - gross. I had to go into the lab and there were roast chickens all over the floor, and one plucked chicken just in its deaththroes, with one of these things just zipping round the corner. Then someone turned the light off!......and then I woke up..........ewwwww!

Just heard from the broker - the valuation on the flat has come back fine and the mortgage offer has been issued - yaye!

Trying not to get my hopes up, been here too many times in the last two years - but you know, I think Lisa's intuition about this one might be on the money!

i had a nightmare last night too it was horrible one but thankfully i now cant remember it, weird how that happens. Sci fi chicken killers, wonder if they were atkins aliens x

yay on the lcm order I got one too and going to place another. Changing eating plans the way I do the lc wraps, rolls, etc fit in with any plan.

LOL definitely not dishy - but happy to work with me on getting the best price for the materials and so on - and didn't kick up a fuss about moving the boiler for less than the cost of a 3rd world country - so will see what his quote is like when it comes in early next week.

Gave Ikea a miss, it's gone all cold here and I feel really knackered, could actually do with a little nap

Thanks hun, am starting to relax a bit and think it might actually happen

The solicitor has already started the searches, so might be able to complete in another 4-6 weeks, then a few weeks for the work to be done, so hopefully by early December - definitely by Christmas!

Oh won't that be so lovely - in my own home (again), a tree up with lots of decorations, the heating all warm, Orbs happy - ahhhhhhhhh
