Have got a headache now from all the sleep - wish I could send you some sleep dust ML!

Foodwise - am OK, not enough greens yesterday. Just made a huge omelette with bacon, mushrooms, cheese and herbs - but my frying pan has lost all its "non stick" and it became a pile of slightly runny egginess on the plate! :) Think I might splash out on a new Tefal Sensiorelle one this weekend. And definitely got K breath today, very metallic bleurgh....

Very lazy day thanks hun - and staying in tonight so I don't breathe on people - even Orbit recoiled :D

Am about to make some courgette spaghetti and make up some tomato pasta sauce, yum, with choc orange bark to follow :)

Going from bad to worse on the builders' quotes though - #2 got abusive by text when I queried his quote and #3, which arrived tonight, is the most £££ of them all! Think it's time to contact some Polish builders because these three English builders have been rubbish, I really don't know how they stay in business!

I've been going through your diary Susie to try to find the recipe for this bark stuff....what is it? Can you let me know the recipe hun? Ps...your flat looks lush! Is that garden all yours? The bathe looks amazing too. We haven't got a large bathroom & have a shower off of the bedroom, but I always wanted a (solid) rool top bath. We got one a few years ago. It took four blokes to carry it upstairs, but it was worth it. I lived in it after my nasty op a couple of years ago :)
 
Thanks hun - sadly I don't think the bath will be able to fit in, it's too wide :( But will have one built instead :) And yep the garden is all mine, it will take a while but I have great plans for it - and Orbs will love it.

The bark recipe I use is as follows -

1/4 melted coconut oil
1 heaped tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp sweetener
Then your flavouring - I put in 1 tsp peanut butter; or some orange essence/Da Vinci orange s/f syrup; or rose essence; or flaked almonds - others like mint, but I haven't tried that yet.

Stir well and pour into a plastic dish and bung in the freezer. If you're in a hurry, it should be set in about 15 minutes or so.

Ouch on the builders, Susie. Sending abusive texts really isn't the way to do business. It's definitely an area where recommendations help so fingers crossed Di can sort you out.
 
Morning all

Sun's out but it's a bit brrrr here today, so think it will be poodling around inside for me. Not hungry at the moment but will have belly pork slices with mash later, I think.

Sun? Lucky you! We have grey sky and mist and I'm still in bed because its so cold. Lots to do today including a rethink on my shoes for next Saturday but maybe just another hour under the duvet before I get up and strip the bedding :)

LOL I was just thinking about going back to bed or turning the heating on. Had quite broken sleep - my aunt in NZ has decided to pick up Mum's talent of ringing at mad hours, and called me just after midnight last night (I'd been asleep for two hours), and she was shocked, saying "I thought you'd be out partying!". Haha no chance, love my bed too much! Then the Sex Woman upstairs came home, on her own this time, and switched on the washing machine!!!!

But I think this is me up now, otherwise I'll get funny bed head if I lie down again :)
 
I hated that in my last house the woman next door that a washing machine that sounded like a jet and vibrated the whole building couldnt sleep thru that. Sex woman is sooo selfish u need a revenge campaign against her! Xx
 
I wonder if sex woman was sitting on the washing machine, since she came home alone.
 
now there is a thought lol i wondered why the woman next door to me did so much washing when she lived alone x
