1.5lb is still a loss, and a good healthy one at that. Give it a chance - another good week of food optimising and I bet you will have a better result :)
 
Hun its still a fab loss - you really have done well. Stop being upset cos u will just undo your good work - keep the focus going and more pounds will come off.
 
Awwwwwwwww don't feel like that, just think what you could have happened had you not been on plan you could have gained 1.5.

There is no rush to lose weight, it's coming off & that's all that matters, you've done really well, don't lose faith now, try & get back some of that motivation you've had all week. xx
 
A loss of 1.5lb is brill hun - i know we want it off quick but you've not got lots to loose now so its going to come off more slowly but stick with it - you'll get there guaranteed!!!!

Stop sulking!!!!!

You have lost weight this week and you are doing great. If you had not been good this week u could have gained or maintained and even though u were super good and deserve perhaps more weight to come off, sometimes it just doesn't happen like that.

If you carry on sulking about it what will that achieve (apart from frown lines???)

Dust yourself off and snap out of it. Or else.....!! :)

I just feel a bit defeated at the moment and as though I am starting to lose all faith and interest. It really doesn't help that I know next week probably won't be a loss - I'm out all day / night in York on Saturday so lots of alcohol & eating out. I am desperately planning and hoping for a maintain as I honestly cannot cope with another gain.

I should be over the moon with 1.5lb off, and any other week I would have been. But I had a perfect week. I denied myself of all sorts. I deserved so much more. I am still a long way from target, and I feel at this rate I will never get there. I have hit a bit of a rough patch and at the moment I just don't know what else I can possibly do to make things better.

Nevermind. You're right - enough sulking. Just got to keep plodding on and stop feeling sorry for myself xxx
 
It happened to me before hun - i was proper frustrated! Grrr. I had not had this and that, driven to a party and i think i had lost 1lb.....! Haha!!! But i think i caved to my own sulks and gained the next week.

I know when u have social things its hard and saying no to nice things is boring but keep at it. If you get a maintain then thats fab but who knows it could be a loss!

I think the muggy hot weather isnt helping as out bodies retain water as we get more dehydrated....make sure u do your water challenge every day!!! Xxx
 
I think we all have weeks were we've been extra good & feel like we deserve a bigger loss, I certainly have, the other week I'd gained 1.5lb & had no idea where that had come from, yes I was fed up but I just got on with it.

Don't stop posting because of your mood, sometimes writing things down helps & this is a support forum so if you're down we are here to help you, it's not just a place to boast about how well you're doing. xx
 
Well done on a fab loss Stevie, sometimes I think it just takes a while to catch up. I am totally stuck in a rut and close to quitting so prove we're not totally in sync and keep going :) xxx
 
Not going to lie, I am still miserable about it and still don't think it is anywhere near a "fab" loss for the week I'd had, but I'll quit moaning about it. I'm not going to give in - just got to keep plodding on and do the best that I can this week to try and limit any damage that may be caused on Saturday. Thanks everyone for the support. Just a shame I am a miserable so and so :giggle:
 
I was fed up of it the other week too. My weight has been going up and down like a yo yo this summer - BUT - look at the bigger picture. Summer is a difficult time, I'm out most weekends, doing festivals and nights, drinking late and eating the wrong things. Yes I'm annoyed that I'm not losing - but I'm no where near what I weighed this time last year, and I am keeping it under control. Sometimes your 'damage limitation' has to stretch into the week before and after to really see the result - and yes it might be a maintain, or a small loss, but its still a loss - and you are learning how to deal with difficult days/weekends out through being 100% on track either side. This is what it will be like until target, and at target too :) I personally have said to myself that as long as I don't go to 14 stone again before the end of summer I'll be happier - as I know I can lose weight a hell of a lot quicker in winter. Maybe set yourself some smaller goals, and think of the things you have done rather than haven't done :) You are doing amazingly, and you look stunning already, be proud and don't put yourself down! x

I totally understand where the upset has come from but seriously your loss was better than STS or gaining! I've had a quick look through your posts and your foods look great! I'd be happy to lose 1lb a week.

I agree with others, stop bloody sulking lol stick with it and see how you do next week. You won't get anywhere feeling miserable! Even though I know it must be so frustrating for you x
 
Thanks everyone for the support, I really do appreciate it. I know I've been sulking but I think anyone in my position would be miserable and disappointed about it. I'm not sulking anymore - I'm still not happy about it but I'm just trying to get on with it.

Please please don't feel bad for saying fab or fore telling me to stop sulking or whatever - I know that really it's a fab loss and any other week I would be over the moon with it! It was just me being a miserable so and so and taking the huff a bit.

Honestly, I'm fine. I haven't given up. I'm just plodding on trying to do the best I can this week before my day/night out on Saturday - damage limitation and all that.

Thank you all so much. I really do appreciate all of the advice and comments, even if it sometimes doesn't seem like it. I am the type of person who sees the negatives in a situation like this, rather than focusing on the positives. It probably seems like I've been a bit ignorant and moody, but I've just been letting all of your comments sink in over the last couple of days. I won't give up. Actually, last night was funny. A picture randomly came up on my FB news feed which seems very relevant to me this week, maybe it was a sign!
