Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Hope you're feeling better today Susie! I also have a tendency to order too much if I do it online! Ha ha :)

Electric shocks??!! Actually I've always been a shocker lol. Used to have my boys in fits when they were little by gently touching the back of their neck in the shopping centre and giving them a little shock haha.

I get electric shocks in some buildings and shops! really annoying - usually when I hold the handrail on the escalator or press the lift button! :)

Morning Susie, in the old days of mainframes,we had an earthing strip you had to touch before coming into the computer room, to release static electricity

I get shocks a lot too - and I stop watches if I wear them for more than a day :D Luckily this special 'talent' doesn't affect my iPhone!

Had a lovely start to the day - had a brekkie meeting (made sure I was sorted by having brekkie before I left - not a single flake of croissant passed my lips :D), and ran into an old work friend who looked shocked and said I'd lost so much weight! Bless him, I haven't really but it made me feel brill :D

Then caught the Clipper along the Thames to Greenwich, where I am now. Talk about a civilised start to the day.

So, menu -

B - Cup of tea, bacon and eggs (you were right, Katie, it is the best), soya latte
L - 3 Debbie sausages with spinach, lettuce and lemon oil/mayo dressing; followed by yoghurt, berries and low carb granola (despite this, I think I'm still hovering around 20-25 carbs a day)
D - left over roast pork and cabbage - might fry it all up in lard (while trying to get over the fact that that sounds like a heart attack on a plate lol)
S - new snack discovery - Tesco is doing salami pork snack sticks (regular or hot n spicy), you get 5 in a pack (they're long and thin, just like a bloke I used to know hehe) and they are 0.4 carbs each
W - 3 litres today :D
E - done loads of walking
A - might have a G&T if the flat I'm going to see looks nice - and to celebrate the imminent arrival of Orbit/Stella tomorrow morning :bliss:

I thought it was only me with the watch thing! I actually go a step further than stopping them. If I wear a wind up watch I can make the hands spin backwards!! Fortunately I have no effect on a battery watch but sleeping next to a digital alarm clock makes it gain time, as does the microwave clock. Weird eh!!

What a fab day Susie!!! I love the Thames - mesmerised by water in fact ... And great food day! Well done...

Cant wait for kitty pics!! :)

Hope Orbit/ Stella coming home goes well x

Hi all

The poor wee girl is under the sofa - it has been a big day for her, first time out of the house, first time in a car and now a new house - so going to leave her there to get used to things.

Hope everyone is well xxx

Oh bless her! Can't wait to see photos! :)
