I've decided I'm def starting Atkins tomo! No more stupid diets just a proper healthy one that is realistic!!

wow thats great!!! and i'm loving your goals, seems like both of us has got goal to meet by april-may. i hope i get to goal before that because my birthday dress is going to be a size 10 seeing as thats the biggest size theyve got on that website and its got a lot of cut outs from the waist and down the stomach area but im not worried about my stomach i'm worried about my thighs. cant wait to post a b4 and after pic:D
 
someone could probly correct me if im wrong but i think ive seen in a post somewhere on here saying that milk has quite a few carbs so people tend to use a splash of unsweetened soya milk or a Tbs of double cream in their tea instead, as for the eggs butter is perfectly ok to use. x

Hi Tamzy - I love Alpro unsweetened organic soya - 0.2g of carbs per 100 - let's me have a precious latte every morning :D
 
morning everyone, i woke up up feeling great!! iv never drank so much water in a long time lol but it feels really good.

food plans for today

B - bacon style rasher ( veggie) cherry tomatoes, avacado and steamed spinach. * pint of water*

S - sugarfree jelly * pint of water*

L - veggie soup

D - salmon fillet, brocolli, cauliflower, brussels and mushroom sauce.

Aiming to drink 3 litres of water today:D

so i have officially started my diary now :)! had scrambled eggs this morning soooooooo much better than a shake bleurgh! lol

right so i need some tips please. . . things i need to stay clear of. . . things i should eat etc.

im planning on sticking to my 3litres of water a day that i've been having for the past week :)

thank you again for your advise! yes my goal date is April/May as my bfs bday is 1st April and my bday is 21st May and want to look good for both :)

hey hun,so happy youve joined us, i bet you was smiling while eating your eggs instead nof a shake lol. 3 lites of water is really good! infact thats my daily goal for today as ive been slacking on th wate front.

i was told to stay away from fruits and root vegetables as their quite high in carbs, but as long as you use 15g out of your 20 a day on leafy green veggies then your on the right track.

im starting the gym few times a week to get the weightloss speeding up because i dont wnt to be wasting anytime as my birthday is around the corner, bfs being very cheeky telling me that he can be my personal trainer lool.

i know soooooo glad i started :) had a lush lunch! was afraid of feeling either too full up or bloated after not eating "proper" food for like 6 weeks! lol. But im not, i feel fab!!!!

have had lots of lettuce for luncha and some cucumber. Will have some brocolli with my dinner :) doesnt sound like alot though of leafy greens :S

what do you have for snacks if any hun? not that im feeling hungry! lol xxx
 
sounds like you had good foodwise, you can always add more veggies tomorow as this is a learning process.

i normally snack on a piece of cheese, * smoked veggie pepperami* sugarfree jelly and a touch of cream, a handfull of nuts, even a cheese salad, if i get hungry between meals i have a few boiled eggs or a can of tuna. i even have a piece of fish lol.

but a lot of people do snack on pork scratchings and other low carb stuff, unfortunately i cant because im a vegetarian so i got less choices to choose from. everyone keeps talking about the * MIM* but i havent gotten around to making it as yet, i did use to use flaxseed a few months ago in my cereal so i think i'll start buying them again and try the * MiM as i love breads and muffins. o yea and i almost forgot, low carb sausages are good for snacks too:D

im yet to try smoked salmon with cheese in the middle:p

ive got a link on one of my pages that has a lot of great recipes on it, i made a great crust less quiche and it was lush!! think you should really check it out as its got loads of food ideas on their.

its good to no what u can snack on just incase you get the munchies, hope that helped x
 
ooo didnt even think of nuts!! will try those porb in my second week?! which nuts are allowed? cashews? they my fav so prob not allowed! haha or pastachios?!

cheese and sausages! great snack idea! im going to get some celery to snack on with babybels and maybe cook some sausages for when im hungry to keep in the fridge!!!

o yes their my fav nuts aswell but i stick to roasted almonds because their so yummy and morish, i do eat cashew nuts but i limit it to just a few pieces because the carbs do add up though.

dont no if pistachios are high in carbs or not, i must check, i wanted to buy some in the shop today but most of the nuts on the shelves had no nutritional info, so frustrated!! or maybe i'll check it on MFP to see the carb contents. but i did check the difference between cashew nuts and almonds and the almonds have a lot less carbs.

do you like pork scratchings? i think its called "Mr porky" its an alterntive to crisp and its about 0.3 carbs for the packet, great to take into work as a snack or if u like pepperami that also would be a great snack as its in individual packets.

wow i think im talking too much lol x


 
Haha no please carry on! I found these bags of cheese by cathedral city! Lush they have 30 tiny squares in them! Obvs for kids but gd enough for me xxx

Morning hun - I love Mr Porky, they are a fab after dinner snack, which is when I get peckish :)

hello hun, how are you?

just wished i ate meat because i no i'd be snacking on the pork, and they practically have no carbs lol. i'm running out of snacking options now.
